Vitra Eames Moulded Plastic Armchair DAW – Light Blue / Dowel Base

Designed by Charles & Ray Eames, the Eames Moulded Plastic Armchair DAW is one of the most recognisable designs of the 20th century, pairing its sculptural armchair shell with the distinctive timber dowel base.

This example features a light blue moulded plastic shell set on warm timber legs with contrasting black steel cross-bracing. The soft blue colour gives the chair a distinctive yet understated presence, while retaining the organic curves and relaxed proportions characteristic of the Eames design.

A versatile piece suited to use as a dining chair, occasional chair or desk chair, and equally at home in contemporary or mid-century interiors.

Authentic Vitra production, featuring original Vitra / Eames manufacturer markings and labelling, including Made in Germany markings to the underside.

Condition
Pre-owned and in good overall condition for its age, with light surface marks and general signs of use. The timber dowel base shows minor wear but remains solid and structurally sound.
