The Basel Chair was designed by British designer Jasper Morrison for Vitra, a modern take on the classic wooden café and dining chair. Clean lines and balanced proportions reflect Morrison’s focus on simple, useful, everyday design.
This version pairs a natural timber frame with a black moulded seat and back, a timeless contrast that works in dining rooms, meeting rooms, studios and design-led offices. Made by Vitra to commercial standards for long-term use.
Condition
Professionally cleaned. Overall good condition with light wear consistent with use (see photos). Timber is a natural material, so variations in grain are part of its character, not defects.
Ideal for
Dining rooms, cafés, meeting rooms and studios.
