The Think was launched by Steelcase in 2004, engineered in cooperation with German designer Glen Oliver Löw, and was the first product in the world to earn Cradle to Cradle certification. This is the redesigned second generation.
The back is a row of 15 linked flexors under a 3D knit mesh, so it moves with your spine as one surface. The mechanism is weight-activated: recline resistance sets itself to whoever sits down.
This is the drafting-height version, with a taller gas lift and a foot ring for standing-height desks and benches. It has adjustable lumbar support and seat-depth adjustment, in a grey knit back and grey fabric seat, no arms, on a silver five-star base with castors.
