The Blom chair was designed by Italian designer Claudio Bellini for Australian company Schiavello, as a sculptural lounge chair inspired by the organic form of a blooming flower.
Its enveloping curves and compact footprint make it a standout for breakout areas, lobbies and contemporary living spaces, combining comfort with a striking shape. This one is upholstered in black wool-blend fabric, versatile and timeless.
Condition
Professionally cleaned. Overall good condition with some light wear consistent with use. Please note: there is some fraying and tearing to the fabric near the back of the base (see close-up photo).

Schiavello is an Australian-owned furniture designer and manufacturer founded in 1966 in Melbourne by Tony Schiavello, with his younger brother Joe, starting as a partition supplier. Still family-led, with Peter Schiavello as managing director, the group designs and makes its furniture at its headquarters and factory in Tullamarine, Victoria, and says more than 90% of the materials in its products are Australian grown or sourced.
