The Space Lounge Chair by Fritz Hansen was designed by German duo Jehs + Laub in 2007. It was inspired by the feeling of sitting in the palm of a hand, with a wide moulded shell that wraps naturally around you.
Segmented upholstery follows the geometric lines of the shell for a comfortable, supportive seat, while the low profile gives it a distinctive, sculptural silhouette. This one has a white lacquered shell with black upholstery on a black four-star steel base, a bold monochrome finish.
It suits a living area, executive office, reception or designer lounge equally well.
