The Posa by B&B Italia was designed by British architect David Chipperfield in 2008. It takes its name from the Marquis von Posa, the idealistic hero of Schiller’s play Don Carlos, and was developed while Chipperfield was designing seating for the St. Louis Art Museum extension.
The brief was versatile, robust seating with a sense of refined luxury. Thin upholstered sections sit on a light internal steel frame finished with a bright brushed aluminium lower edge, combining clean architectural lines with soft, generous comfort.
Fully upholstered in black leather, these chairs bring a sophisticated presence to a dining room, boardroom or executive space.
Condition
Pre-owned. Please see the photos for current condition. Leather is a natural material, so creases, colour variation and patina are part of its character, not defects.
