Authentic Herman Miller Eames Molded Fiberglass Side Chair – Green / White Wire Base

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, the Eames Molded Fiberglass Side Chair is one of the most iconic furniture designs of the 20th century.

This example features the original Herman Miller Green fibreglass shell, paired with a White Wire “Eiffel” Base. Herman Miller documentation identifies this fibreglass colour simply as Green (finish 116).

The moulded fibreglass construction gives the shell its distinctive depth, texture and visible fibres, creating a character that is noticeably different from the later polypropylene Eames chairs.

Manufactured in the USA in December 2015, this chair retains the original Herman Miller, Eames Office and Eames signature markings moulded into the underside of the shell, confirming its authenticity.
