Artek Low Bar Stool K65 by Alvar Aalto – White Laminate / Birch

Designed in 1935 by Alvar Aalto for Artek, the Artek High Chair K65 is a celebrated piece of Scandinavian modern design. Known for its clean geometry and durable construction, the K65 remains a popular choice for both residential and commercial interiors.

This version features a white laminate seat paired with a natural birch frame, creating a crisp, contemporary look while maintaining the warmth of the timber structure. Like many of Aalto’s designs, the K65 incorporates his pioneering L-leg bentwood construction, where laminated birch legs attach directly to the seat without additional framing. This innovation results in a strong yet visually lightweight stool.
